The Airflow Dynamics head was done by Scott Jennings of Airflow Dynamics. The porting done by him on a stock cast iron head was designed to maximize flow at near-stock levels of valve lift, and was not flow tested above 0.450" lift. As you can see from the numbers, with the right porting the stock head can be competitive with the stock Esslinger aluminum head at stock lift.
